Your gift, ordered from KLM Wannagives, can be delivered to the person you want to surprise in one of two ways: in the air or at his/her doorstep. We deliver much of the KLM Wannagives range to a home address worldwide. You are required to pay Dutch VAT of 21% and delivery charges to the country of residence of the person you want to surprise.
Can all the items be delivered at home?
No, not all items from KLM Wannagives can be delivered at home. When placing your order, you can see immediately how the item can be delivered. Certain items cannot be delivered to every country. You can check this in the Terms and Conditions of Delivery on the details page for each item.
We do our best to make it as clear as possible on our website which items can be home delivered in the country of residence of the person you want to surprise. The list of items that are not eligible for home delivery changes regularly, so it is advisable to check with the local authorities as to whether a product may enter the country.
How are the delivery charges calculated?
There is no charge for delivery on board. Delivery charges apply to every order that is delivered to a home address. The charge depends on the weight of the items and the destination country. Overview of delivery times per country
What is the delivery time of my order?
Our packages are sent by PostNL. The delivery time for each item is given on our website. Add the shipping duration of PostNL to your total expected shipping duration. PostNL’s delivery time depends on the destination country and can vary from 1 to 12 working days. The stated delivery time is an indication and not a guarantee. Overview of delivery times per country
Can my gift be delivered anywhere?
Yes, in principle your order can be delivered worldwide. We do our best to make it as clear as possible on our website which items can be home delivered in the country of residence of the person you want to surprise . We do this by excluding particular items when you select your country. The list of items that are not eligible for delivery changes regularly, so it is advisable to check with the local authorities as to whether a product may enter the country.
Please take into account that the items are sent from the Netherlands and that high charges apply for some countries. If the delivery address is outside the EU, you may be subject to custom charges, depending on the country. Check the amounts with the local authorities. We do our best at KLM Wannagives to adhere to customs regulations. KLM is not liable for packages that are refused at the border due to customs regulations.
What is the status of my order?
Home delivery: At present, it is not possible to track your order. Please take into account that packages may be subject to unexpected postal delays. We have no control over this. If the item has not arrived within 14 days or within the estimated delivery time, please send us a message via Facebook or Twitter or send us an email.
You will need to give us your order number. We will then have PostNL run a check. If the PostNL check shows that the package has been lost, you are entitled to a full refund. This does not apply to unexpected delays at customs. Should the package not pass customs, KLM is unable to exert any influence. In this case, you also do not have any right to a refund.
On-board Delivery: Once your order has been completed successfully, a confirmation page will pop up. This is only a confirmation that your order has been placed. We take 3 days to verify whether the flight your acquaintance booked is eligible for on-board delivery. Also, we have to check if your colleague/friend/loved one will be on the scheduled flight. If you are paying with Flying Blue Miles, we check whether your Miles balance is sufficient for the purchase. If everything is in order, you’ll receive a confirmation e-mail within 3 days. If not, we’ll e-mail you to confirm cancellation of your order. Please note that we will only charge you if we know for sure that he/she will be on board.
Is the gift insured?
Your order that is delivered by PostNL is insured: in Europe, your order is insured for up to €500; outside Europe for up to €200.
Why is the charge for home delivery higher than for delivery during my flight?
The charges for on-board delivery are tax-free. When your order is delivered at home, the prices are not tax-free. You pay the Dutch VAT of 21%. In this case the tax is added to the sales price.
What does on-board delivery entail?
You can order a gift online from KLM Wannagives to surprise someone you know during his/her flight. Your purchase is tax-free and there are no delivery charges. We deliver the surprise gift-wrapped during the scheduled KLM flight. This service is available on:
• All KLM flights departing to and from Amsterdam (except for flights shorter than 1h30).
• For some destinations, restrictions are applicable. Please check the delivery information on the product information page.
Can all items be delivered on board?
No, not all items at KLM Wannagives can be delivered on board. When ordering, you can see directly how the gift of your choice can be delivered. Some items cannot be delivered on board the aircraft. There are also flights to particular countries in which some items may not be delivered. You can read the relevant information in the Terms and Conditions of Delivery in the details for each item.
On which flights can I surprise someone?
You can have your gifts delivered on all KLM flights to and from Amsterdam (except for flights shorter than 1h30).

What do I need to be able to receive my order on board?
After you have completed your order through KLM Wannagives, you will receive an e-mail confirmation and an invoice. This e-mail is your guarantee, so keep it in a safe place. Our cabin crew is aware of the order and will deliver the gift to your acquaintance’s seat.
What happens if the flight is cancelled? How will my acquaintance then receive my surprise?
In case of a change in departure time, your surprise will be transferred to the new flight. No harm done. If the flight is cancelled and a new booking had to made, the amount you paid will be refunded to your bank account.
We will contact you by phone or e-mail to keep you up to date and explain your options. Please note that during the flight, our cabin staff is unable to refund the amount paid.
What happens if a person misses the flight or the gift has not been delivered? How will my acquaintance then receive my surprise?
If your acquaintance has missed his/her flight or if the gift was not delivered while on board, you can choose one of the following options:
• Your gift will be delivered on the next flight your acquaintance will take, or
• The amount that you have paid will be refunded to your bank account.
We will contact you by phone or e-mail to explain these options. Please note that, during the flight, our cabin staff is unable to refund the amount paid.
